Iteration
The AI's first answer is a draft. Treat it that way.
New prompters accept whatever the AI gives them on the first try, or give up if it misses. Both are mistakes.
The real workflow:
- Send a prompt.
- Read the response critically.
- Say what was wrong, what was right, what you want changed.
- Repeat until it's what you need.
A response that misses isn't failure. It's data. Use it. "Close, but shorter — drop the second paragraph" is the kind of follow-up that gets you where you want.
